About Big Data and Data Analytics
In recent years, the term Big Data has become very popular in Indonesia. This was triggered by the development of information technology that made various data appear in the public domain, such as consumer behavior pattern data on social media, online news, and other technology applications.
As the name suggests, Big data can be interpreted as stored data that exceeds processing capacity. database conventional. This is because the data collected is complex, too large in number, moves too quickly, and is not in line with the structural capabilities of the management system compiler. database traditional. The size of big data can be as large as terabytes or even petabytes.
Meanwhile, Data Analytics is the entire scope of the process of collecting and managing an information system to then be analyzed using certain applications, so as to form conclusions about the information needed quickly and accurately.
