Following a previous visit by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at the University of Indonesia (UI) and his staff to the Faculty of Science at Universiti Putra Malaysia to discuss academic and teaching collaborations, today, Wednesday (July 17th), the Dean of the Faculty and his staff visited Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), Malaysia, to strengthen collaboration in research, community service, and teaching.

This collaboration was formalized with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) by Dr. rer.nat. Abdul Haris, Dean of FMIPA UI, and Prof. Dr. Jafreezal Jaafar, Dean of the Faculty of Science.

Some of the collaborative programs discussed include summer school activities in the form of: training for students of both parties through collaboration fund dan student exchange with the system credit transfer.
