Monday (10/25/2021), the Prospective Dean Candidates of FMIPA UI for the 2021-2025 Period underwent an interview stage held by the FMIPA UI Dean Candidate Selection Committee (PSCD) team, offline and closed at the Sinarmas Hall, FMIPA UI Multidisciplinary Research Laboratory Building – PT Pertamina (Persero), UI Depok Campus. The interview activities were carried out while still implementing health protocols.
This interview stage was held for two consecutive days until Tuesday (26/10/2021) and was a continuation of the previous series of processes, namely the presentation of the vision and mission to the public.
At this stage, the Prospective Dean Candidates were given 90 minutes to answer various questions from 7 (seven) members of the FMIPA UI PSCD team chaired by Dr. Endang Saepudin.
To the UI public relations team, Dra. Ariadne L. Juwono, M.Eng., Ph.D. as Deputy Chair of the FMIPA UI PSCD Team said, although previously the prospective candidates had explained their vision and mission in front of the public, this interview was still conducted to dig deeper into the abilities of the Prospective Dean Candidates in relation to becoming the best Dean for FMIPA UI through questions that were more related to the criteria set by the University of Indonesia.
“At this stage, our selection team is trying to dig deeper into several things related to the criteria set by UI, including the integrity of the Prospective Dean Candidates,” said Ariadne.
Some of the questions given to the prospective dean candidates include what strategic steps the prospective dean candidates will take to support IKU UI and support UI as an entrepreneurial university, as conveyed by the UI Chancellor several months ago.
Furthermore, he said that the selection team held an assessment meeting. The final score obtained was the result of the paper assessment, Vision and Mission presentation and interview. The final results of the FMIPA UI PSCD assessment were directly submitted to the Chancellor of the University of Indonesia on the second day of the interview stage.
