The UI Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences’ Undergraduate Program in Mathematics Achieves International Assessment

The ASEAN University Network (AUN) has just announced the results of the quality assessment of the Undergraduate Mathematics Study Program (Prodi) at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia. This study program has been declared to meet the standards and criteria of the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) with a final score of “4.5” on a scale of “7”. Documents Available and Evidence That They Are Used.

The final scores/results were obtained after the Mathematics undergraduate study program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) UI underwent an assessment on April 10-12. These assessment results marked the recognition of two FMIPA UI study programs to international standards. Previously, the Chemistry undergraduate study program received a score of 5 out of 7 by the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA).

Dr. rer. nat. Abdul Haris, Dean of FMIPA UI, stated that this assessment result is a proud achievement and should be celebrated. He believes this achievement is the result of hard work and synergy from all relevant parties.

He also hopes this achievement can continue to improve. Furthermore, Haris explained that two FMIPA UI study programs are currently in the process of completing the AUN-QA assessment process: the Physics undergraduate program and the Biology undergraduate program, which are planned to be conducted simultaneously in October. So he hopes that all related parties can work hard to get more satisfactory grades.
