Wednesday (18/3/2015) FMIPA UI received a visit from SMA Kharisma Bangsa. The event which took place in the Multipurpose Hall of FMIPA UI was attended by 41 students and 4 accompanying teachers. The visit to FMIPA UI which was the first for SMA Kharisma Bangsa aimed to increase the insight of Higher Education education especially in the field of science.

In this event the Public Relations and IT coordinator (Adhi Harmoko Saputro, Ph.D.) delivering a presentation on the FMIPA UI Profile, followed by a special presentation on the Mathematics Department by the Head of the Mathematics Department (Alhadi Bustamam, Ph.D.)In his explanation, he motivated the students of SMA Kharisma Bangsa to become scientists, and emphasized that FMIPA UI graduates have very good job prospects in advancing technology both domestically and abroad, and not just becoming lecturers or teachers. In addition to the presentation session, the students were given the opportunity to discuss and ask questions. The students were very enthusiastic in asking questions.

The event was closed with the presentation of souvenirs by Dr. Dian Lestari as the Education Manager of FMIPA UI, before visiting each Department at FMIPA UI.
