On Wednesday, January 26, 2022, the leadership of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of the University of Indonesia (UI) received a visit from the leadership of the Directorate of Cooperation (DKS) of the University of Indonesia (UI) at the Sinarmas Hall, Multidisciplinary Research Laboratory Building of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of the University of Indonesia (UI) – PT. Pertamina, on the UI Depok Campus.
This agenda is a UI DKS Roadshow activity in order to disseminate information regarding the Duties and Functions of the Cooperation Directorate, and the submission of the draft Chancellor’s Regulation on Risk-based Cooperation Guidelines.
In addition, strategies for enhancing cooperation between the Independent Campus, academics and government, business and strategic projects, as well as discussions and requests for input on developing and improving other collaborations were also discussed.
Dr. Toto Pranoto, Director of UI Cooperation, stated, “This socialization roadshow was held in connection with the inauguration of new faculty leaders within the University of Indonesia, as well as an introduction to the new ranks of faculty leaders, and faculty, school, and vocational management.”
Echoing Dr. Toto, Dede Djuhana, Ph.D., welcomed the visit. He stated, “It’s important to socialize the implementation of this type of collaboration from university-level units to build synergy between the two parties in managing and developing collaborations within UI.”
Also present at this hybrid event were the Vice Deans, the Manager of Cooperation, Ventures, and Alumni Relations, the Heads of Departments, the Management of the Applied Science Institute, the Heads of Research Centers within the UKK LST within the FMIPA UI environment, and Dr. Munawar Khalil, Head of the Sub-Directorate for Research Collaboration Development, Directorate of Research and Development UI and a lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, FMIPA UI.
Meanwhile, from the DKS UI, also present at this event were the Head of the Sub-Directorate of Academic and Government Cooperation Eko Sakapurnama, S. Psi, MBA., and the Head of the Sub-Directorate of Business Cooperation Andri Syahreza, M.H
