This event serves as a momentum to introduce the new officials of the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia 2025 to all campus elements, as well as to present the organizational structure, vision, mission, values, and work programs under the leadership of Muhamad Ridho Alfarabi (Physics 2022) as Chair and Kayla Nadhira Wijaya (Biology 2022) as Vice Chair. This year, the Student Executive Board of FMIPA UI carries the theme ‘Embark the Journey’, which reflects the spirit of building a broader, integrated, and dynamic student movement.
This launch was attended by the faculty leadership, including the Deputy Dean for Resources, Ventura, and General Administration, Prof. Dr. Tito Latif Indra, S.Si., M.Si, as well as the Student Manager, Prof. Dr. Dewi Susiloningtyas, along with the coordinators and student staff, representatives of the Student Executive Body (BEM) from the University of Indonesia, and all new officials of BEM FMIPA UI 2025.
In her speech, Prof. Dr. Dewi Susiloningtyas expressed appreciation and great hopes for the new administration.
Thank you for the willingness of fellow students to join the ranks of the Core Management of BEM FMIPA UI 2025. I hope this spirit of kindness can be maintained. Together with the leadership in FMIPA UI, we can create positive activities and support performance achievements in the student environment of FMIPA UI.
In line with that, Prof. Dr. Tito Latif Indra emphasized the faculty’s commitment to supporting student activities:
“FMIPA is your home. Make the best use of all the available facilities. Keep up the spirit to liven up FMIPA with positive activities for the academic and non-academic development of FMIPA students!”
The management of BEM FMIPA UI 2025 consists of 4 bureaus and 3 departments that are integrated in running the organization’s operations. Internal Bureau tasks to maintain the coordination and internal dynamics of the management, while Bureau of Communication and Information (Ministry of Communication and Information) plays a role in the dissemination of information and media management. Finance Bureau responsible for the management of the organization’s funds, and Strategy BureauSupervision and Integrity (SPI) ensure that program implementation runs in accordance with the values of transparency and accountability. On the other hand, various student welfare issues are handled by Advocacy Department and Student Welfare (Adkesma), the potential and creativity of students are facilitated by Department of Interests and Talents (Minkat), as well as social issues and campus policies responded by Social Department and Politics (Sospol).
This Grand Launch is not just a ceremony, but a strategic first step in strengthening the role of students as agents of change within the FMIPA UI environment. With inclusive leadership and interdisciplinary collaboration, the BEM FMIPA UI 2025 is expected to be a platform that enlivens, supports, and inspires the entire academic community of FMIPA UI.
