Strengthening Friendship and Synergy, FMIPA UI Holds Halal Bihalal Event

On Monday (June 25th), the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia, held a Halal Bihalal gathering, which included a thanksgiving and the inauguration of the cafeteria, student activity center (Pusgiwa), and prayer room.

In addition to being attended by the leadership, lecturers, and staff of FMIPA UI, the event was also attended by FMIPA UI partners and featured Dr. KH. Zakky Mubarak, MA., as a speaker.

The event began with remarks from the dean and a brief inauguration ceremony for the cafeteria, Pusgiwa, and prayer room by Dr. rer. nat. Abdul Haris, Dean of FMIPA UI.

Haris stated that this Halal Bihalal gathering was held for several reasons worthy of gratitude. In addition to the Eid al-Fitr 1439 H celebration, he also expressed his gratitude for the achievement of the AUN-QA international assessment results by the Mathematics Undergraduate Program. In addition, the FMIPA UI Canteen, Pusgiwa (Religious Center), and Musholla (prayer room) buildings, whose construction began nine months ago, were completed and inaugurated as part of this series of events.

Furthermore, he emphasized to all his staff and the academic community that this halal bihalal gathering should be a momentum to strengthen ties and synergy.

The event also included symbolic awards for retired FMIPA UI lecturers and staff. The awards, a token of gratitude and concern from the leadership and the entire FMIPA UI academic community for the dedication of the retired lecturers and staff, were presented by Dr. rer. nat. Abdul Haris.
