The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FMIPA UI), continues to strengthen its commitment to maintaining quality service standards by conducting an internal audit as part of the preparation for ISO 9001:2015 recertification. The four-day audit, held from August 5 to 8, 2025, covered all units within the faculty’s administration center.
The internal audit was carried out following FMIPA UI’s Refreshment Awareness activity on Wednesday (July 30, 2025), aimed at enhancing staff understanding of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
The audit covered academic units, including Education, Student Affairs, as well as Research and Community Engagement (PPM). In addition, it also involved non-academic units such as the Secretariat (which includes Public Relations, Leadership Secretariat, Information Technology, and Legal and Institutional Administration), Procurement Services, Ventures Cooperation and Alumni Relations (KVA), Human Resources, Facilities, and Finance and Budgeting.

Prof. Dr. Tito Latif Indra, S.Si., M.Si., Vice Dean for Resources, Ventures, and General Administration as well as Chair/Management Representative (MR) of this activity, stated, “In this audit, the auditors reviewed the alignment between the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents and their implementation in each unit, while also ensuring that all processes run in accordance with the applicable standards.”
The audit process also involved a comprehensive evaluation of service user satisfaction survey results, the handling of findings from previous internal and external audits, the achievement of quality objectives, as well as continuous improvement efforts carried out over the past three years.
All findings from this internal audit will be discussed in the Management Review Meeting (RTM) scheduled for August 19, 2025. This forum aims to assess the effectiveness of the implemented quality management system and to formulate improvement measures as a form of commitment to enhancing service quality.
The internal audit and Management Review Meeting (RTM) are important stages leading up to the external audit by the certification body DQS Certification Indonesia, which will be held on August 26–27, 2025. FMIPA UI aims to maintain its ISO 9001:2015 certification as an international standard in administrative governance and academic services.
