The UI Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Student Executive Board (BEM FMIPA UI) provides training for students who are members of the Teras Pengajar (Teacher Terrace)

Tuesday, August 27 2019 at Building C Room C101 FMIPA UI, Depok, the Student Executive Board (BEM) of FMIPA UI through the Department of Social and Environmental Affairs held training for several students who are members of the FMIPA UI core learning teachers.

Teras Belajar is a group of teachers under the auspices of the Department of Social and Environmental Affairs of the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the University of Indonesia which has a home learning program to provide additional lessons for underprivileged children, at the Bina Remaja Mandiri Foundation, located in the Tapos area, Cimanggis, Depok.

The training, themed “Teaching Techniques and Child Psychology,” featured facilitators from Sadewa (Sayap Dewantara Indonesia, or Indonesian Council of Indonesians), a community focused on education and comprising the UI Mengajar Movement. Ninette Putri Mustika and Kadek Andre Setiawan were the facilitators.

The aim of this activity is to optimize the understanding of core learning teachers about the characteristics and learning styles of children, methods and learning media that can be applied in teaching later.
