Bella Hena, a 6th-semester undergraduate student in geography at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia, is currently competing for the opportunity to compete in the country’s most prestigious beauty pageant, Putri Indonesia 2022, as a representative from Banten Province.
In this event, the girl whose full name is Bella Hena Samira competed with Chrissy Fransisca Olivyana Rugian, who is an alumnus of the 2014 FMIPA UI chemistry undergraduate study program.
Not only their facial beauty, Bella and Chrissy have demonstrated their insight and abilities as winners in the Nong Kota Tangsel election event.
Chrissy Fransisca as Deputy 1 Miss Tangsel 2015 and Bella Hena is Miss Tangsel 2017.
Both of them are the hope of Banten residents to win the beauty contest organized by the Puteri Indonesia Foundation and Mustika Ratu.
“After a series of auditions, on January 14th the results came out, indicating that the top three would advance to the next stage,” said Bella, as quoted from the TangerangNews.com page.
In these top three, assessment will be carried out using a voting method, supplemented by assessment from the jury.
Bella admits she’s currently preparing her knowledge and skills for the next stage, so she can also bring honor to Banten on the national stage.
This 170 cm tall woman is optimistic that she can provide the best results for South Tangerang City.
Bella was a non-academic high-achieving student at Al Azhar BSD High School in 2019. Furthermore, she was also the top high-achieving student at the Geography Department, FMIPA UI, in 2021.
The Co-Founder of Teman Impian was also Indonesia’s Representative at the 2021 ASEAN Future Leaders SDG Workshop. Furthermore, he and his “Hero of Sustainability” team won an international award for second place in the People’s Choice Category at the 2021 Esri User Conference Map Gallery.
