Depok, Tuesday (1/11) the BAN PT Assessor team led by Prof. Johannes Hutabarat (Diponegoro University), together with Prof. Indra Jaya (Bogor Agricultural Institute) conducted an accreditation visit for the Marine Science Masters study program.
The arrival of the two assessors was welcomed directly by Dr. rer. nat. Abdul Haris as Dean of FMIPA UI in Meeting Room A FMIPA UI. Present at the visitation were Dr. Rokhmatulloh, M.Eng. As Vice Dean II, managers, Coordinator of Academic Quality Assurance Unit namely Dr. Ratna Yuniati, Dr. rer. nat. Yasman Head of the Department of Biology, Dr. Abinawanto Biology Masters & Doctoral Study Program, and Dr. Noverita Dian Takarina Head of Marine Science Masters Study Program.
This accreditation is an effort by FMIPA UI to improve the quality of the marine science master’s study program and its graduates.
In his remarks, Abdul Haris expressed his hope that the accreditation process would run smoothly thanks to the good cooperation of all parties. This would enable the FMIPA UI Master’s program in marine science, previously accredited B, to be upgraded to A.
After verifying the documents and forms that had been prepared several weeks previously, the assessment team went to the Biology Department of FMIPA UI to conduct a field assessment.
