The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, through the Indonesian Talent Development Center, has conducted regional-level selection for the 2022 National Mathematics and Natural Sciences Olympiad (ON MIPA) online on July 28-29, 2022.

Based on the selection results from the 2022 ON MIPA jury team, the participants who passed the ON MIPA selection at the Regional level were determined on August 10, 2022. This determination was announced through an official letter from the Indonesian Talent Development Center with Number: 0383/J7.1/PN.00/2022 and signed by Asep Sukmayadi as the head.

This determination marks a new chapter for the selected participants to move on to the national-level selection, which is the final stage and determines the main champion of ON MIPA 2022.

The 2022 ON MIPA national selection is planned to be held on September 20-24, 2022, in Malang, while the winner announcement will be held on September 25, 2022, at the same location.
